December 26th,
2011 THROUGH December 31st 2011:
December 27th, 2011:
A Main Street property owner reported the theft of (7)
steel beams, which were allegedly stolen sometime between 12/1/11 and
12/22/11.
A West Avenue resident reported a known suspect used
their vehicle without permission. Charges were filed with Police for
“Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.” **This vehicle was later found in the
City of Rochester on December 31, 2011.
December 28th, 2011:
Police stopped James
R. Riley, III of Brockport, NY for driving in and out a traffic lane on
Holley Street, as well as driving off road. Riley was later charged with
Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated as well as other traffic-related
offenses, and is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.
December 30th, 2011:
Police received a call for
a fight inside a business on Main Street. As a result of their
investigation, Police charged Timothy R. Nielson, 19 years old, of
Rochester, NY with Felony Third Degree Criminal Mischief. Nielson was
arraigned in front of Hon. R. Connors, and remanded to the Monroe County
Jail on $1,500 cash / $3,000 bond.
A King Street resident
reported that sometime between 12/17/11 and 12/29/11, an unknown person
forced their way into the rear door of the apartment and stole a 10” x 10”
Dell computer screen, 32” Vizio flat screen TV, a Sony Stereo receiver, and
$500 worth of CD’s.
A King Street resident
reported that sometime between 12/26/2011 and 12/30/2011, an unknown suspect
entered their residence through an unlocked rear door and stole a 32” flat
screen television.
During routine patrol,
Police observed a “Domino’s” pizza sign hanging inside the living room of 24
College St. A representative from Domino’s was contacted and confirmed the
theft of said sign several weeks ago. Police retrieved the sign and
delivered it to the owner. The business owner declined charges for Fifth
Degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.
The Brockport Police responded to 187 calls

and responded to 15,339 calls in 2011.

January 1st,
2012 through January 8th, 2012
January 2nd, 2012:
A King Street resident reports an unknown suspect
stole a 26” “Westinghouse” flat screen television, a wireless X-Box
controller and an X-box unit. This happened sometime between December 19th,
2011 and December 28th, 2011.
A King Street resident reports an unknown suspect
stole a 40” flat screen television, an iPod clock docking station, and an
“Insigna” 22” television. This happened sometime between December 19th,
2011 and December 28th, 2011.
January 4th, 2012:
Police stopped Ryan J.
Bockus, 21 years old, of Hilton, NY for driving driving in the middle of
Main Street, and for having a head light out. Bockus was later charged with
Driving While Intoxicated as well as other traffic-related offenses,
and is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.
January 7th, 2012:
9:33PM - Police responded for the Burglary
report on Willowbrooke Dr.
The Brockport Police responded to 257
calls for service between January 1st, 2012 through January 8th, 2012.

January 9th,
2012 through January 15th, 2012
January 14th, 2012:
1:26am – Police stopped Paul A. Hutchings, 24
years old, of Hilton NY for driving the wrong way on King St., as well as
driving too fast for road & weather conditions. Hutchings was charged with
Driving While Intoxicated as well as several other traffic
infractions, and was arraigned in front of Hon. Mark Depferd.
Sometime between 7PM and 9PM on January 14th
an unknown suspect spray-painted a white panel truck parked in the Water
Street parking lot.
The Brockport Police responded to 302 calls
for service between January 9th,
2012 and January 15th,
2012 with 559 calls to
date.

January 16th,
2012 through January 22nd, 2012
January 17th, 2012:
2:33am – Police stopped Rachael M. Haring, 20
years old, of Philadelphia, NY for making an illegal u-turn in front of 1
Main Street in front of the Canal Bridge. Haring was charged with Driving
While Intoxicated and is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.
January 20th, 2012:
1:30pm – Police arrested Steven E. Tardoe,
49 years old, of Holley NY for 3rd Degree Criminal
Trespass, a Misdemeanor. Tardoe is due to appear in Sweden Town
Court.

for service between January 16th,
2012 to January 22nd, 2012 with 802 calls to date.
