November 10th, 2014 through November 16th, 2014

 **Updating From Last Week’s Release**  November 5th, 2014: Arrest: Police arrested Shannon M. Pombert, 25 years old of Brockport, for the Felony charge of Failure To Register as a Sex Offender. Pombert was remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of bail.

November 10th, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested David E. Wright, 29 years old of Brockport on the Misdemeanor charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended or Revoked, as well as other traffic related offenses. Wright is due to appear in Sweden Court.

Arrest:  Police arrested Rocco J. Rosso, 24 years old of Rochester on the Misdemeanor charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended or Revoked, as well as other traffic related offenses. Wright is due to appear in Sweden Court.

Arrest:  Police arrested Cristen L. Davis, 20 years old of Castorland on the Misdemeanor charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended or Revoked. Davis is due to appear in Sweden Court.

November 11th, 2014:

Larceny:  A West Avenue resident reported that their cell phone was stolen after the cell phone was left inside of a restroom.

Arrest:  Police investigated a dispute where a known suspect was charged with Second Degree Harassment.

November 12th, 2014:

Suspicious Condition:  A Brockport resident reported that he was robbed on North Main Street in the afternoon. Through investigation, Police discovered the caller owed money to a third party stemming from a drug sale. No robbery took place.

November 13th, 2014:

Annoyance:  A Union Street resident reported a group of people fighting in the area. Patrols arrived and discovered no fight but a loud party. Patrols were able to control the situation.

November 14th, 2014:

Larceny:  A Main Street resident reported that a bird feeder was stolen from the rear of her building.

November 15th, 2014:

Harassment:  A Main Street resident reported that they were involved in a physical altercation in the early morning hours.

Property Damage:  An Erie Street resident reported that two grills, a patio chair, a table, and bags of charcoal and salt were thrown into their pool some time overnight, damaging the pool liner and said property.

Property Damage:  A Lincoln Street resident reported that the driver’s side taillight was damaged by an unknown person sometime overnight.

Larceny:  A Union Street resident reported that their phone was taken out of their jacket pocket some time during the early morning.

Arrest:  Police arrested Jessy J. Black, 21 years old of Brockport on Misdemeanor charges of Criminal Mischief and Criminal Trespass. Black is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 16th, 2014:

Property Damage:  A Main Street resident reported that a large glass window was shattered sometime in the early morning.

November 17th, 2014 through November 23rd, 2014

November 17th, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested Corey C. Mcdermott, 21 years old of Rochester on a warrant turn-over for the Misdemeanor charge of Obstruction of Breathing as well as Harassment 2nd. Mcdermott is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 18th, 2014: 

Motor Vehicle Accident:  Police investigated a motor vehicle accident on Main Street that caused a traffic delay.  

November 19th, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested Devon M. Rose, 20 years old of Brockport on the Misdemeanor charge of Falsely Reporting an Incident. Rose is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Forgery:  A Main Street resident reported that a fictitious check was sent to them in the mail by an unknown sender.

November 20th, 2014:

Property Damage:  A Park Avenue resident reported that an unknown person threw a pumpkin through the front window of their residence some time overnight.

Arrest:  Police arrested Erica S. Sands, 21 years old of Brockport on the Felony charge of Forgery in the Second Degree and the Misdemeanor charge of Petit Larceny. Sands turned herself in to the Brockport Police Department on a warrant for said charges. Sands is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 21st, 2014:

Harassment:  Police investigated a dispute where a known suspect was accused of Second Degree Harassment. Victim did not wish prosecution of the suspect.

November 22nd, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested Austyn H. Snyder, 24 years old of Holley on the Misdemeanor charge of Second Degree Obstruction of Governmental Administration as well as Disorderly Conduct. Snyder is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Disorderly Conduct:  Police were called to Clinton Street for the report of a large group of people fighting.

November 23rd, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested Shawn T. Winkley, 25 years old of Brockport on Misdemeanor charges of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, as well as other traffic related offenses. Winkley is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 24th, 2014 through November 30th, 2014

November 24h, 2014:

Theft/Property Damage:  A West Avenue resident reports someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole property, prescription medication in addition to damaging the center console inside her vehicle.

November 25th, 2014: 

Traffic Accident/Arrest: Police arrested Elizabeth Webster-Gardner, 29 years old, of Hamlin on charges of Felony Aggravated While Intoxicated with a Passenger under Sixteen years old in the car (Leandra’s Law), Driving While Impaired by Drugs, a Misdemeanor, and other traffic-related offenses. The investigation was a result of a motor vehicle accident.

November 26th, 2014:

Suspicious Person: Police investigated a suspicious person at a business in Brockport. It was discovered that said male was wanted for questioning by the United States Secret Service.

November 27th, 2014:

Motor Vehicle Accident: Police responded for an accident on Kimberlin Drive.

November 28th, 2014:

Traffic / Drug Arrest:  Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction, which resulted in a violation drug arrest on the vehicle’s operator.  

November 29th, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested Ethan P. Rogers, 20 years old, of Brockport on the Misdemeanor traffic charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration. Rogers is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Arrest: Police arrested Melissa L. Ortiz, 20 years old, on the Misdemeanor traffic charge of Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operator, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Ortiz is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 30th, 2014:

Dispute: Police were called to a dispute on Holley Street involving two roommates.

December 1st, 2014 through December 7th, 2014

December 1st, 2014:

Suspicious Condition:  A citizen reported seeing what appeared to be a hunter walking with a shotgun in the area of 156 West Avenue. Police checked the area but did not locate the hunter.

December 2nd, 2014: 

Identity Theft:  An Oxford Street resident reported that they received a bill in the mail for an internet website account that was created by an unknown person using the victim’s personal information and used to purchase items.   

Petit Larceny:  A Barry Street resident reported that an unknown person opened a package that had been delivered to her front door and removed the contents of the package.

Forgery:  An unknown person was reported to have passed two fake twenty dollar bills at a Main Street business.

Forgery:  An unknown person was reported to have passed a fake one hundred dollar bill in exchange for gas.

December 3rd, 2014:

Alarm:  Police responded to a Merchant Street business for the burglary alarm. Police checked the building and found the source of the alarm to be an oversight from an unsecured door.

December 4th, 2014:

Petit Larceny:  A Brockport resident reported that her silver Ipod 4 was taken from a docking station at her place of employment.

December 5th, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested Amber K. Butt, 29 years old, of Rochester on the Misdemeanor traffic charges of Driving While Intoxicated along with other traffic related offenses. Butt is due to appear in Brockport Village Court.

December 6th, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested a Waterloo resident for the Violation of Disorderly Conduct.

December 7th, 2014:

Arrest:  Police arrested Deago L. Suiter, 23 years old, of Brockport on a warrant for the Misdemeanor traffic charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operator along with other traffic related offenses. Suiter is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Arrest:  Police arrested a Clinton Street resident for the Violation of Harassment.
