October 13th, 2014 through October 19th, 2014

October 13th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Steven J. Barber, 29 years old, of Brockport on the charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended/Revoked, as well as another traffic-related violation. Barber is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

October 14th, 2014:

Suspicious Condition: A citizen reported a group of approximately ten people in the parking lot of 18 North Main Street possibly doing drugs. Patrols verified no signs of drug activity.

October 15th, 2014:

Check of Welfare: Police investigated a suspicious condition after a citizen reported that they observed what appeared to be a child inside of an unattended parked vehicle, secured in a car seat among a large pile of clothing in the vehicle. Patrols verified no child or car seat in vehicle.

October 16th, 2014:

Burglary: A West Avenue resident reported the theft of a several industrial power tools from inside of her attached garage.

Arrest:  Police arrested Steven J. Davis, 27 years old, of Spencerport on the charges of Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Misdemeanor Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Davis is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Arrest: Police arrested Matthew C. Peters, 35 years old, of Holley on the charges of Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Peters is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

October 17th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrest Jason P. Thompson, 37 years old of Bergen, and Brian A. Reynolds, 33 years old, of Brockport on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th (Felony) and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Thompson also had two active warrants at the time of arrest; one belonging to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the other to the Rochester Police Department. Thompson and Reynolds were remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of bail.

October 18th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Tyler J. Millspaugh, 22 years old, of Albion on charges of Misdemeanor Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Millspaugh is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Arrest: Police arrested Adam M. Rotoli, 38 years old, of Albion on charges of Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated, as well as other traffic related offenses. Rotoli is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Property Damage: A College Street resident reported that someone broke the front living room window to their house with a broom stick.

Property Damage: A Holley Street resident reported deep scratches spelling out obscenities along the driver’s side of his vehicle overnight.

October 19th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Amy E. Hinman, 21 years old, of Corning on charges of Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Hinman is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

October 20th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Tarra M. Chimino, 35 years old, of Rochester on the charge of Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, a Misdemeanor, as well as another traffic-related violation. Chamino is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Arrest: Police arrested Nicole M. Manioci, 22 years old of Rochester on the Misdemeanor charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended / Revoked. Manioci is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

October 21st, 2014:

Suspicious Condition: Citizen reported hearing two gunshots in the area of Park Avenue and the Canal. Police confirmed that the noise had in fact been fireworks.

October 22nd, 2014:

Petit Larceny: A Barry Street resident reported that approximately 38 Hydrocodone pills were taken from her purse.

October 23rd, 2014:

Property Damage: A Main Street resident reported that someone damaged their front windshield window overnight.

Arrest: Police arrested Tasneem Zaihra, 36 years old, of Brockport on the Misdemeanor charge of Registration Suspended. Zaihra is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Arrest: Police arrested Devon M. Rose, 20 years old, of Rochester on charges of Misdemeanor Third Degree Falsely Reporting an Incident and Trespassing. Rose is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Arrest: Police arrested Stephanie M. Dionne, 29 years old, of Rochester for Second Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended / Revoked, along with other traffic-related offenses.

October 24th, 2014:

Assault: A Holley Street resident reported that someone hit him in the head with a glass bottle. Victim did not wish prosecution of Suspect.

October 25th, 2014:

Property Damage: A Holley Street resident reported that someone damaged the front and rear tires on his vehicle as well at the rear quarter panel sometime overnight.

October 26th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Rhonda M. Tobey, 43 years old, of Hamlin on the charges of Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended / Revoked, as well as other traffic-related violations. Tobey is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Property Damage: A State Street resident reports someone smashed their pumpkin.

Property Damage: A Park Avenue resident reports someone smashed their pumpkin.

Property Damage: A Spring Street resident reports someone threw a squash at their front door, causing damage to said door. 

Arrest: Police arrested Deago L. Suiter, 23 years old of Rochester on the Misdemeanor charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended / Revoked. Suiter is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

October 28th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Christopher D. Hallas, 27 years old of Leroy on the Misdemeanor charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended / Revoked, Second and Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operator, Ignition Interlock Restriction, along with other traffic-related offenses. Hallas is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

October 29th, 2014:

Check the Welfare: Police were called to a Main Street address to check the welfare of an individual.

October 30th, 2014:

Larceny / Property Damage: A Market Street reports someone siphoned and stole fuel and damaged instrumentation on their motorcycle.

October 31st 2014:

Property Damage:  A Student Lane resident reports a known suspect damaged a door during a dispute. The victim declined to press charges.

Arrest: Police arrested Shirley J. Adams, 50 years old of Rochester on the Misdemeanor charge of Third Degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operator, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Adams is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 1st, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Christopher A. Stirk, 35 years old, of Hilton on the Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Stirk is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 2nd, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested William E. Rudd, II, 35 years old, of Hilton on the Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated, as well as other traffic-related offenses. Rudd is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

Theft: Police investigation a Petit Larceny at a North Main Street business.

November 3rd, 2014 through November 9th, 2014

November 3rd, 2014:

Larceny:  A High Street resident reports that an unknown person entered their vehicle and stole an Ipod MP3 player and a Garmin GPS.

Arrest:  Police arrested Muhammad Mughal, 19 years old of Bronx on the Felony charge of Second Degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. Mughal is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 4th, 2014:

Property Damage:  A Clark Street resident reported that her garden fence was damaged.

November 5th, 2014:

Suspicious Condition:  A Brockport resident reported that he was robbed on North Main Street in the afternoon. Through investigation, Police discovered the caller owed money to a third party stemming from a drug sale. No robbery took place.

November 6th, 2014:

Arrest: Police arrested Evan M. Dunham, 21 years old of Brockport on the Misdemeanor charge of Fourth Degree Criminal Mischief for damaging a wooden picket fence. Dunham is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.  

Larceny: A citizen reported that an unknown person stole his BMX bicycle that was locked to a pole on Market Street.

November 7th, 2014:

Reckless Endangerment:  A citizen reported that an unknown person fired a BB gun at the reporting citizen from a passing vehicle on Clark Street, striking the citizen in the hand.

Arrest:  Police arrested Aaron R. Harding, 24 years old of Batavia on the Misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated, as well as other traffic related offenses. Harding is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.

November 8th, 2014:

Trespass:  A Clark Street resident reported that an unknown person entered his home during the early morning. Through investigation, Police learned that the person who entered the home was intoxicated and believed they were in their own home.

Identity Theft:  A Spring Street resident reported that their debit card was taken from inside of their home and used at several different locations.

November 9th, 2014:

Property Damage:  A citizen reported that two tires on their vehicle were slashed overnight.

Arrest:  Police arrested Carla D. Harris, 44 years old of Rochester on the Misdemeanor charge of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Registration Suspended, as well as other traffic related offenses. Harris is due to appear in Sweden Town Court.
